Nom Nom Nom......30 minutes in and Ryan Gosling's acting has me quite thrilled. I apologize but he is rather yummy and with that intense broody look of a lost soul mixed with raw manliness, it is difficult to concentrate on the plot. However, it is such an excellent story line that it absorbs you completely . I was a little concerned at first with the 80's font on the title and intro credits, mixed with an 80's style electro-pop tune, however the soundtrack grew on me quickly, even when it seemed like a random time to have an upbeat tune. The mysterious introduction leaves you guessing for a while as to the details of this character but what is certain, is that no matter what develops, you will be on his side of the fight.
I don't even want to give you a plot summary as it is best to be discovered.
At times breathtakingly brutal but utterly fantastic! A must see.
